Pumpkin Potpourri Gift Set by Brigit + Pocket Explosion Box by Traci

Hi everyone!! I have a pretty autumn project to share with you today, a pumpkin box filled with potpourri and a matching pumpkin shaped card.

I used Echo Park’s digital paper Reflections Fall designed by Lori, I love the warm richness of this collection, it’s absolutely beautiful.  It also has wonderful elements that come with the full digital set.

For the pumpkin box I add the fall flourish 2 to the front with a couple of pearls and the fun fall from the 5 fall titles set.  The leave layered tag comes with the box, perfect for writing a sentiment.  I finished it with a couple of elements from the digital collection and some chocolate truffle trendy twine.

I welded two pumpkins from the pumpkin set to make the card, kept it simple using a couple of elements from the paper collection.  I used a little more chocolate truffle trendy twine and a cute little button.

Next is Traci,

Hi everyone!  Traci here with a fun fall project.  Lori’s envelope explosion box is just adorable and as I was putting it together (which was lots of fun — love all the pieces), I thought about some fun ideas for using it.  It will be a wonderful 3d scrapbook, with little photos tucked into each of the 8 pockets…but it would also make a wonderful Thanksgiving keepsake for the dinner table.  Each guest could journal on the little cards about what they are thankful for in 2013.  How wonderful to have their handwriting, sentiment, and a photo tucked into the envelope pocket for sharing each Thanksgiving!
Once the box portion is complete, it looks like this:
I love the wonderful papers that Lori designed for Echo Park’s Reflections Fall collection!
I wanted to add a little fun to the top of the box, so I used a few of Lori’s other fall shapes, some stickers, and chipboard from the collection.
When you open the box, four flaps with cute envelopes and pockets fold out.  Each has a little card inside for journaling or adding a photo.
Thanks so much for letting me share this fun project with you today!  Please stop by and visit me at www.artsyalbums.com
