  1. My favorite homemade gift is a quilt. It was made and given to me by my grandmother! Love it and her!

  2. My favorite homemade gift is the framed scrapbook page I made for my grandma. It had a photo of her and my grandfather on one of their very first dates. He’s since passed and I know it means everything to her when she walks by it in her home!

  3. For years every Christmas Eve my family would go to a close friends house… She has a degree in art, so every year we’d exchange some type of homemade gift. I think the one I liked best was a drawing of a Christmas tree that she had incorporated all my families names in it..and another year she drew a Santa and his mustache and beard was drawn out using our last name .

  4. I come from a very crafty family! There have been so many “favorite” homemade things I wouldn’t even begin to know what the real favorite is. The most recent favorite was a hand designed quilt my mother made my husband and son for Christmas last year. There will never me more of those quilts as they are one of a kind and each different in their own way. I was amazing to see and feel the passion with which my mom worked on these two quilts for two of her favorite guys~

  5. I come from a very crafty family. There have been so many “favorite” gifts that I wouldn’t even know where to begin to pick an all time favorite. The most recent favorite crafty gift were two hand designed quilts my Mother made for My husband and my son. It was amazing to see and feel the passion with which she made each one. There will never be more of those quilts as each is different in their own way.

  6. My favorite homemade gift was a hat and scarf made by my cousin. She even spun the yarn herself!

  7. My fleece tie blankie that my BFF made for me. I’ve had it for three years now and it’s my fave.

  8. A quilt is my favorite gift to give. It keeps on giving every time the recipient wraps up in it.

  9. My favorite homemade gift was a quilt from my grandmother. I used it all through college, my 4 boys used it and now my grandchildren are using it.

  10. My favorite homemade gift to make are treat baskets/boxes/bags for my son and his friends or classmates.

  11. My favorite gift to make and give are monogrammed towels. I’ve been using machine embroidery but now I have a Silhouette. So, I’m thinking of branching out to vinyl monograms and sayings on tee shirts and “couch caddys”. Who can’t use one of those?

  12. My favorite gift to give are monogrammed towels. However, now that I have a Silhouette, I’m switching to vinyl on tee shirts, and making couch caddies with vinyl lettering and designs.

  13. I have received so many wonderful homemade gifts – I cannot choose one as my favorite, but one that is fabulous is a nativity set made out of clay – my daughter beautifully crafted the pieces and my son made the wooden stable – with a light inside that lights up!

  14. Thanks for the wonderful cornucopia file! Lori, I have spent my day making 3D church luminaries from your cut file purchased from the Silhouette store, love them! They cut and go together beautifully. My favorite handmade gifts are all the things my girls brought home from school when they were little!

  15. All my life, my grandma’s been knitting slippers for me for Christmas. I hated them when I was young, but now I love them! In fact, I’m wearing them right now!

  16. I forgot to mention my
    fave gift is a Valentine
    Heart card that my husband
hand carved for me! It is
    two “pages” and he painted
    it also!
