Happy New Year and a Creative Team Call!

Happy New Year Everyone!!  To start our year off here at Lori Whitlock, we are looking to add a couple of designers to our team!  Here are the details…

Each designer will be asked to create 2-3 projects a month including participation in monthly blog hops.  The term will be from February 1st, 2016 – July 31st, 2016.   Please limit the number of photos in your application to 3, one for each project.  Close up photos are not necessary.   A blog and a presence on Social media (Facebook, Instagram) are required for consideration, it is how we spread the word of our products! All applications must be sent to help.loriwhitlock@gmail.com by midnight January 12th.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask in a comment to this post, I will do my best to get back to you in a timely manner!  I’m very excited to see everyone’s creations!

“For today’s layout I thought I would try the ever so popular “ombre” effect that is popping up everywhere these days!  I started my project by searching through my stash for every pink patterned paper I could find in the same color family and then lined them up from lightest to darkest.  I altered Lori’s star button to become my outline and filled it with her darling scalloped border to carry out this fun effect.  Swing by my blog for a mini tutorial on how I accomplished this”.

Team members are able to showcase their talents while using a large variety of products designed by Lori Whitlock. These products include die cut shapes found at www.loriwhitlock.com and Silhouette America, digital scrapbook files at JessicaSprague.com as well as Lori’s scrapbooking paper/embellishments at Echo Park Paper, and if you are into fabric… Lori’s fabric at Riley Blake Designs. Possibilities are endless depending on your comfort zone and abilities. So, show us what you can do!

Some things to know before you submit.

  • Blog and Facebook is a MUST!
  • Sewing is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be able to provide 3-4 projects a month, showcasing Lori’s digital files, printed paper and/or die cut files.
  • Good photo skills a MUST! Clear, properly exposed pictures are mandatory.
  • Willing to participate in blog hops and promote products on your blog as well as contribute on Lori’s blog.
  • PAPER TEAM:Die cutting is a MUST! You will be required to use Lori’s die cut files on your projects.
  • DIGITAL TEAM: Working knowledge of digital scrapbooking a MUST!
  • Open to crafters world wide.
  • 6 month commitment is required.
  • BE CREATIVE! We like designers who think outside the box!

If you can fill these requirements we invite you, our fabulous followers, to put your skills to the making and show us your best work in any of these areas. Please send us the following information at info@loriwhitlock.com. Make sure you have it sent in NO LATER than midnight April 8 as that is the deadline.
