Father’s Day and the Box Card Cabin

Anita here with a fun Father’s Day card for the active/outdoorsy type of dad.  It is called Box Card Cabin (SVG, Silhouette).  I used some of Lori’s Echo Park Paper collections including Let’s Go Anywhere, Here Comes the Sun and Halloween Party.  There were more pieces to put on the front of the card but I decided to just use the one wood grain piece for the front of my house.

As always, the beauty of a box card is that it folds flat for mailing.  Be sure to check out all of Lori’s wonderful SVG’s for Father’s Day.

Hugs,

Anita

Canoe Shaped Box Tutorial

Hello everyone, I have a quick and fun tutorial to share with you today, the canoe-shaped box, (SVG, Silhouette). This makes such a cute gift box filled with marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers, what little camper wouldn’t want to receive this! I used Echo Park’s Summer Adventure collection of papers and stickers to decorate.

I was able to get all the canoe pieces on one sheet of paper as you can see below. I also made two of the oars and glued them together so it would be sturdier.

After cutting all the pieces I folded all the score lines and inked all the edges.

I glued the three bottom pieces together and then added one of the side canoe pieces inside. So you wrap the flaps around the piece as you can see below. I find you get such a nice fit when you do it this way.

Then I add the other inside piece which forms the canoe.

Then I added the outer canoe sides which fit perfectly!

Last the waves and oar is added. I really enjoyed putting this together it came out so cute I think!

And don’t forget, this file and all SVGs in the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop are 30% off through Saturday when you use code JUN2022 at checkout~

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Father’s Day 3D Camper Tutorial

Hello everyone! Marcia here today.  With Father’s Day approaching, I wanted to make something special for my husband. He loves to camp, in fact we just returned from a camping trip in Northern Minnesota. He also loves all things vintage. We have talked about fixing up an old camper one day. When I saw Lori’s Father’s Day 3D Camper (SVG, Silhouette) I had to make it for him.

Let me show you how you can make one too.

5.  Starting on one side, slowly adhere the tabs around the curved edges of the camper. Using a quick drying glue helps. When one side is done, flip the camper over and do the other side.

6.  Assemble the hitch. The post must be rolled up small enough to fit through the hole. Adhere hitch to the bottom of camper extending the hitch post out in front.

7.  Adhere tires. Add a self stick brad for a doorknob. Add trees in back and the fire in front of the camper. Use the Father’s Day sentiment if you want, or change it up to suit your needs.

Lori has lots of Father’s Day ideas in her shop. Go check them all out and have some fun making your own 3D Camper!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

The Sweetest 3D Gift Box with Michelle

Hello! Michelle here today to share the sweetest little 3D Camper that’s also a clever little gift box!

You can find SVG files to make this 3D Camper at the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop or at the Silhouette Design Store. I used papers from the Sweet Baby Girl line by Echo Park Papers, but I’m certain that this would look great with any papers for any occasion. Lori has a video tutorial that makes this so fun and easy to put together. It’s my new favorite project!  (the 3D Tree is also available here in the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop and at the Silhouette Design Store)

3D Camper Trailer Gift box

There’s so much room the box. Perfectly sized to hold candy and gift cards, or jewelry and small toys. It would also be great for Birthday Party favors. Lori also has a larger 3D Camper that would make a great centerpiece for the party table. That would be such fun party decor! Its so fun to make little things that you know everyone will love.

Thanks for letting me share today.

Happy Crafting!
