Sliding Gift Card Holders

I just released a really FUN concept at the Silhouette Online Store today! I’m SO excited to share this with you. I created a series of sliding gift card holders. I LOVE these little cuties!! They are just so darn fun to open and close!! And, for the FIRST time ever… I’ve attempted to create an instructional video for assembly. Please don’t laugh! If it works out… I’ll do more of these videos for new shapes that are more complicated to assemble. The link to the video is at the bottom of the post. If you’d like to purchase the .svg files you can find them HERE, HERE, and HERE in my shop. All of the samples feature Echo Park paper!

Video Instructions: Part 1 HERE and Part 2 HERE. These gift card holders should be added to my online shop sometime tomorrow. Have a great day!

UPDATE: I’ve embedded the videos right here in the post for your convenience:

  1. I just purchased this file this morning, specifically, the bracket one. Didn’t have a chance to play with it yet, but I better look at your video first. . . thank you!

  2. These are Fabulous Lori, and You are a natural with the video thing Great Great Job Loved Watching …xoxo

  3. You should have a “buy now” button on this page. Which card is it? Went to order it. But I can’t find it.

  4. Wonderful! I’m going to amaze my friends and family with this one for sure!!! This certainly takes gift cards to a whole new level of fun! Thanks so much!

  5. Lori, thanks for the video. I think sometimes when designers develop cutting files, they assume all of us can just “figure it out”. However sometimes the obvious isn’t to obvious. Keep the videos coming. I’m off to Silhouette to download the bracket gift card.

  6. My Cameo came yesterday. And I bought these and made my first cuts with he bracket edge one. It is so cute. (It even impressed my husband.) I think I have almost all your boxes and can’t wait to cut them all.

  7. Thank you so much for the video! I think I would have messed it up big time if I didn’t see how it was all supposed to come together.

    =)
