July Blog Hop

Welcome to our July 2015 Creative Team Blog Hop!

This summer is going so fast. It’s been a different one for us as my son graduated from high school and is preparing to leave the nest. In fact, he’s preparing to serve a 2-year mission for the LDS church. He will be going to Richmond, Virginia in just a couple of short weeks. I’m so excited for him and his new adventures but at the same time I’m a little sad inside thinking of him being gone for 2 years.  That has sort of thrown me for a loop this summer. So, if there is anyone out there reading this post from the Richmond, Virginia area, please look out for my son, he’s coming! He’s a great young man!

I have a fun announcement to make! Dresden Carrie is now joining Kolette and I in the SVG shop. You’ll find a new selection of her fun and crafty fonts in the shop today. Be sure to go check out her fun files!

Now, on to the blog hop… First off, we have a 30% OFF SALE going on at Lori’s SVG SHOP. ALL files (and commercial licenses) from Lori Whitlock, Kolette Hall, and Dresden Carrie are on SALE. Use code JULY (case sensitive) at checkout in the SVG SHOP. It’s a great time to stock up!

AND, TODAY ONLY, you can save 30% OFF all of Lori Whitlock’s digital scrapbooking files over at Snap Click Supply. Shop digital scrapbook files HERE. Be sure to use code: JULY at checkout.

Check out all the awesome new files that Kolette, Dresden and I have in the SVG Shop, and they are on SALE 30% OFF through June 14 due to the Blog Hop!!! Be sure to use coupon code JUNE at checkout.

Can I tell you how much I appreciate all of you? Without you, I would not be designing like I do. So, THANK YOU so much for your support! As a small token of my thanks, the following file is free for the next 24 hours. Simply add this SUMMER ICONS file to you cart and and use code: SUMMER at checkout. The price will be subtracted from your order and you should have a “free checkout” option. The file will be immediately available under “My Account” and “Downloads.” You will need to checkout with the freebie separately from the sale coupon as the cart won’t allow you to checkout with both coupons in one transaction. Enjoy!

We have a GIVEAWAY going on today! It’s super simple to enter to win a $20 gift card to the SVG Shop! All you have to do is leave a comment on this post. Let’s do a little brainstorming together. Just comment with a few cutting file ideas and I’ll choose a random winner and announce it on Friday this week. Sound good? OK Ready set, go…

  1. I could use the sun, cloud and wave on a page of sitting on the Outter Banks-ahhhh
Thanks for all the great ideas!

  2. I would like to see some outdoors/hiking files, but not cutesy. Some you could use for adult/non-child pages.

  3. Beautiful all the work I did and the tour of the Blog, Congratulations to all Designers

  4. I would like some pre-school type projects for my 4 year old. I know it’s vague, but I’m having a hard time coming up with ideas myself.

  5. Thanks for the free file. Very useful this time of year. I would love to see vintage files. Like old cars, sock hop, etc. My son is restoring an 1962 Mercury Comet and I’m making a scrapbook of the process to keep with the car to show people at the car shows what he did to the car. It’s hard to find cutting files of vintage things to use on the scrapbook. I have found a couple on Silhouette, but not much.

  6. Wonderful projects here
    today! Love the lanterns.
    Would like to see some
    owl cut files, maybe in
    3D?

  7. Your files are so amazing, what more can we add…. but I will give it a shot!!! There really aren’t enough cut files pertaining to men..like more suits or shirts (different styles).I also just love love card shaped card bases always looking for something to use.

  8. I especially like the shadow box cards but with out words as part of the main shadow box. That way I can add my own message and they can be used for more occasions. I would like a beach themed one, one with fish and a stream, and one for those who sew and stitch. They are like little glimpses of time and are so cute people like to keep them out longer than regular cards. Thanks

  9. I would like to see more masculine (boy through adult) offerings. I would also like to see more faith-based die cuts and sayings. Good luck to your son and thank you for this chance to win.

  10. Hi. I love this shop <3 Love the ideas and inspiration.
Is a lot sites and blogs and companies but I only dream about being a member of your shop DT. OMG I don't know what to do to even have 1% chance.
If I will be in DT I will make few projects box cards but with addition digital stamps. It will be awesome. I think about possibilities – colouring with your files, sentiments and more more possibilities.
    Thank you for your work.
I wish you all good day!
