Fox Shaped Card with Courtney

Hello everyone! I turned this ADORABLE Fox 2 cut file into a shaped card! The links for the fox are below.

I used the adorable “Little Man” collection by Lori Whitlock for Echo Park Paper for this card. Everything came out of the collection pack including that super cute sentiment that I thought would be darling doubled as a scarf.

This card would be great for Father’s Day, birthdays for boy or man or just because! I hope you enjoyed this card and pick up this cute fox. (psst. another idea: I almost turned this into a girl “you’re foxy” card! Wouldn’t that be cute?!)

  1. How did you make this fox file into a shape card?
I would love to make one.
    Thank you

  2. Totally adorable -= I just love this Fox card – you did a fabulous job!
I took Lori’s class at Craftsy – she explains how to make a shape card – it was a fabulous class – she even provides svgs – print N cut – and shows you many things to do – I think it was 6 lessons – worth the money and is half off the price – you can’t beat that

  3. Hi Sandy! Thank you for the sweet comments on my card. How familiar are you with the designware for Silhouette or Cricut? That would help me be able to give you instructions.

If you copy and paste the back-most image of the fox after ungrouping it (I believe the layer is black) then you copy and paste it twice more. You flip one vertically and then line them up with the x coordinates matching. The y coordinates are dependent on where you want your fox to connect. There is no wrong way as long as they are overlapping. I overlapped mine in the head region so it was solid across the ears and head. Then you weld the two pieces together. So you should still also be cutting out all of the “original” cut file pieces so that you can layer them on top of the shaped card portion.

If this doesn’t make sense then feel free to contact me at CourtsCraftsBlog@gmail.com. I can always do it as a thursday tutorial in the future too! 🙂
