February Blog Hop

Have you missed seeing our Creative Team goodness this week? Well, we have a lot of talent to share with you today. Lori has recently released some double page layouts in both SVG and Digital Scrapbooking/PSD format. I want you to see what you can do with these different files and our creative team has so happily obliged, told you they were the best.

First the SVG’s, these files are designed to be used with Silhouette machines and can be found here in Lori’s shop. After opening the file you will see how the layout is assembled. Ungroup the pieces, sort and cut from your favorite pattern paper/cardstock. Assemble all pieces onto background paper (not included in cutting file) and VOILA, a beautiful layout to add to your scrapbook. Pieces can be moved around and placed/used any way your heart desires.

SVG FILES in Lori’s Shop

IF you are not a die cut kind of paper crafter, these files also come as digital scrapbooking kits, and are found at here at Jessica Sprague . They have been created as layered PSD’s, which means you can use the pieces as clipping masks in Photoshop Elements and Photoshop. These are ready for you to add your favorite pattern papers, ribbons and photos and the layouts are done.

PSD FILES in the Jessica Sprague Store

We created these layouts with the idea that you could throw these into your Project Life albums and mix it up a bit. The smaller photos slots are 3×4, which is a perfect fit for any of Lori’s Life Cards in her shop both here and at Jessica Sprague.

Without further ado, please let me show you the order of our blog hop today. These ladies are truly amazing and have shown you different ways to use these layouts, both digital format and SVG’s.  When you are done be sure to come back here and leave a comment so you can be entered in our drawing for a $20 gift card to Lori’s shop. She has amazing shapes there and more coming each week.

Natalie Graham’s is so sweet!

All these projects are beautiful, but I really like Mendi’s layout. Thanks for the hop and the chance to win.

Gail - March 3, 2013 - 12:46 pm

I loved all of them, but especially Mendi’s. I just received my Silhouette machine so her screen shot of the “pieces” really helped visualize how this layout works. Hope to be here alot more in the future.

Debbie Henderson - March 3, 2013 - 5:06 am

Just found your blog through Silhouette. What great ideas and nice layouts!

Sue D - March 2, 2013 - 6:15 pm

I like how Corri used parts of the file to make a card and gift bag.

Tracey - March 2, 2013 - 8:42 am

Wow – – how hard is that to be asked to leave a comment about your favorite project when they all were so wonderful! I loved Mendi’s stitching detail – – wow and Christine’s black and white photos with that little pop of color and Lisa Barrie’s layout – gorgeous just to name a few.

Love Joy’s layout! Loved that she printed and cut the backgrounds, but then popped the accents too! What a great idea!

My favorite layout is Mendi Yosikawa`s Summer Season layout – love the rays of the sun! I saved several of the contributer´s blogs – so much useful information on the Silhouette.

Ann S. - March 1, 2013 - 4:54 am

Loved all of the designs, each one was awesome. I really loved the gift bag and card by Corri Garza. The colors were so pretty!

Abbie - March 1, 2013 - 1:24 am

I love Mendi’s Hello Sunshine layout. I also appreciate all the info that she added about using the cut files with the Silhouette. All of the projects were inspiring and each blog is now in my favorites folder so I can come back and see more.

My favorite was Mendi’s layout. So colorful!

Keisha L. - February 28, 2013 - 11:03 pm

I am brand new to crafting with my Silhouette but I am alreay in LOVE with Lori Whitlock designs. Last weekend I made one of her birthday cards and one of her thank you cards (Design ID’s 17336 & 16464). I absolutely adore the “Coloring Silhouette Shapes” blog post from the Silhouette America blog that was posted on 2/20/13. It includes Lori Whitlock’s “cute umbrella” design. I will be doing that project this weekend!!!

Heather V - February 28, 2013 - 8:22 pm

I really like Lisa’s “Life is Good” layout. Great projects, ladies!

Ruth G - February 28, 2013 - 7:20 pm

The DT did an amazing job! I thought all the projects were wonderful, but Mendi had the most amazing LO (and she also helped me see the benefits that go beyond the page when you buy the cutting file for a scrapbook page!) Thanks for the inspiration and enlightenment ladies! I really enjoyed seeing everything you had to share!

Ryan Ann - February 28, 2013 - 5:29 pm

Lynne Phelps - February 28, 2013 - 1:35 pm

My favorite project is Joy’s mantle displays! I am not a scrapbooker, so I love the idea of capturing events in tabletop displays rather than shut up in a book! Thanks for the chance to win!

LisaMarie - February 28, 2013 - 1:28 pm

I love your silhouette designs and now, your blog! I’m a diy girl and am planning my daughter’s 3rd birthday party with help and inspiration from you! :) Thank you

Can’t go wrong with a scallop anything.
Love the little purse.(I have two grand daughters)
Would love to win the 20 bucks for the store.
Lori is the reason I bought the Silhouette and the yearly membership.
So getting more files is without spending more money, win-win.
Well, for me, if I win.

LisaM6 - February 28, 2013 - 12:30 pm

Lori~ Wow each of the ladies did a great job using your files. It makes it hard to decide which one to get first. Loved them all. Thanks so much for sharing with us your creativity. :)

Leslie - February 28, 2013 - 12:23 pm

My favorite would have to be the card by Corri. I love the color combination, and could easily adapt it to a different holiday. Thanks for all the fun!

Kristine in WA - February 28, 2013 - 12:04 pm

Wow!!! All of the projects are so inspiring! I will say… Im probably going to tackle Mendi’s sunshine page soon. :)

Sillyspuds - February 28, 2013 - 11:35 am

My favorite project was a bridal shower scrapbook. We got photos from family, her fiancé, and a sneaky roomie, and had stations throughout the house with all sorts of supplies. Everyone made a finished page and a blank page for bride to be. It was so much fun!

Jennifer Hansen - February 28, 2013 - 11:27 am

I love the season collection…..too cute!!

melissa - February 28, 2013 - 10:47 am

I enjoyed all the projects but Christine’s cowboy page with the fall season would have to be my favorite. I will have to get some of these templetes for sure.

Cindee - February 28, 2013 - 9:58 am

Wow I have got to get me a Silhouette machine, I didn’t know it could do all of that. Way cool, gotta save up some money, I have a new toy to get. Thanks for all the info.

Marcy E - February 28, 2013 - 8:05 am

What a fabulous team Lori… Each one had a different take on your lovely designs. I especially liked Mendi and Christine’s projects. Sometimes I look at these simple sketches and can’t picture them done with your beautiful papers… They are so inspiring to see… Thank you all for sharing your talent…

Thanks for the chance to win!

Joann - February 28, 2013 - 5:37 am
