Cricut All Occasion Box Card Cartridge

I have some good news for all the Cricut crafters out there!! I have just launched a brand NEW All Occasion Box Card Cartridge with Cricut!  I’m so thrilled that Cricut invited me to create this cartridge and I hope you all enjoy it. The All Occasion Box Card Cartridge is aptly named—there’s one for every occasion.  Here are a few of the fun cards on this cartridge:

The cartridge is full of everything you need to make some fabulous cards.  It contains 30 box card designs and coordinating envelopes.  The cards are ideal for birthdays, seasons, graduation, weddings and everything in between!  The cartridge is good for use with all Cricut® electronic cutting machines.   And, did I mention the cartridge is on SALE for $19.99 for a limited time? Go get it HERE for this price while you can!

Here’s a video showing assembly instructions:

Currently the cards are coming into Design Space smaller than original size. Cricut is working on a fix for this. In the meantime, please refer to the key below. This shows the height that each card needs to be scaled to in order for them to turn out as an A2 sized card.

Have a great day!

If you’re a Silhouette crafter, you can find plenty of box card designs in my Silhouette store here.

If you’re looking for SVG files you can find them here.

Have a great day and HAPPY CRAFTING!!!

  1. OMG Thanks so much for all your information about Lori’s new Box Card Cartridge. I printed it out so I’ll be all set when my cartridge arrives. YOU so ROCK!!

  2. I am so excited to have you become a member of the cricut family. I love your projects. They are always well made and go together just like you say. You are so talented and I look forward to seeing what you come up for us with cricut machines. Now if everyone would post a sizing guideline like you did with their card files all would be perfect.
    Thanks again,

  3. When you place the card and all its pieces do you change the height of all the pieces. Could you please tell me if I need to select all pieces before changing the height. Thanks. I already ordered the cart thru your site and I hope Cricut comes up with a fix so we don’t have to make any adjustments Look forward to your reply

  4. Love this set of box cards! They’re really easy to assemble once you know how to size them. I picked the “Celebrate” card for my first try, and was brave enough to cut 2 cards at the same time, which gave me some extra pieces that I put to use. I also added a stamped element. Love the way it turned out!

  5. Lori I love your new Cricut cartridge. Just made my first card and found it very easy to assemble and with ample areas for embellishing. I made the “celebration” card.

  6. Just got the cart. First time I have ever used the universal overlay so this is all new to me. I am not sure how to get the score lines….I’m totally confused,,,

  7. Just got the cart. First time I have ever used the universal overlay so this is all new to me. I am not sure how to get the score lines….I’m totally confused,,anxious to start creating but at a standstill….please help !!

  8. Bought the digital version. Downloaded the handbook and was not sure how to make the sizes correct. I see your sizing above so I’ll retry. I’m making the Snowflakes Basket Box card. I see that you indicate 11.05″. I’m figuring this must be not actual size and that I’m not to ungroup before changing the size.

  9. I bought the digital version & downloaded the handbook. Was not sure how to size correct but I see the chart info. Was wondering why the box does not have 4 equal sides? I’ll retry & then come back.

  10. I made the Snowflakes Box Card using 11.05″ as height as indicated and all 4 sides were scored & the video indicated that all except for 1 side would be scored and that the unscored one would be the side to stand up & not have flap down.

  11. Love the cards. BUT….trouble!!! How do i fold the middle….where do i fold….what are those strange lines in the book? I don’t get it.

  12. I missed out on getting the cartridge and I would like one. Will more be becoming available soon? And what is the digital set? How does that work? Thanks.

  13. My question is the same as Char’s. Do you have a tutorial for cutting out the card and how you get your fold lines for the center?

  14. Contact Cricut customer support for help with the overlay. I only have the Explore so I’m not familiar. Sorry I’m not much help here.

  15. The digital version works with the Explore and Design Studio. The Expression only uses the cartridges, so if that’s what you have you’d need the cartridge for sure and not the digital version.

  16. Yes, Sharon, I have a huge selection of box cards for Silhouette AND many SVG files for any machine. Visit: shop.loriwhitlock.com

  17. You say all of them assemble the same but some have two inserts like the sunflower one. Also the embellishments would need to be glued down first because the go from top to bottom. Could you maybe explain how to add two inserts inside? Like would you glue the inserts together end to end then fold and glue end to end in the box? Thank you for any help.

  18. I understand how to put the card together, but it is all in the scoring. Do you have specific instructions for scoring….measurements? If it is not scored correctly, it won’t fold correctly and it messes up the card.

  19. i have the cartridge and can not figure out how to score it!!!!!!! please address this i see i am not the only one that is wondering!

  20. when you use the shift button for the base it cuts 4 rectangles and i am thinking this is suppose to the scoring lines not cuts….same if you shift the insert you get cuts instead of score lines!!! help please

  21. would have been nice if someone would have mentioned somewhere in the book that a stylist is needed for embossing the score lines and not a blade…….ugh. on all the other cards on a cartridge the machine automatically just scores

  22. It seems as though there is some confusion about how to score when using the cartridge. I do know that a stylus is required for scoring rather than the blade. But, as far as the functionality of the cartridge with your specific machine, I don’t have the technical support answers as I only have a Cricut Explore and know how to use the files in Design Space. So, I suggest you contact Cricut Support for any questions about how to use the cartridge with the Expression or other machines. Cricut has amazing support and I know they can answer your technical questions much better than I can:

  23. Is there any place i can go to find the measurements to score the card n inserts? I don’t have design space

  24. I bought the boxcard cartridge and loving it. My only issue is: the inserts. I don’t have design studio and my cricut dosent make tick marks on the inserts. and I don’t know where the fold line are. can you help me with the tick line as I only have my score buddy to make the fold lines. I understand the insert measurements are the same on all the cards. Thanks…Beverly

  25. Could you please help me with the insert measurements. I bought the boxcard cartridge and am having problems with the tick marks for the inserts. I don’t have design studio, and my cricut doesn’t make the tick marks. Could you please give the measurements for the tick marks, as I only have a score buddy to make the marks. I love this cartridge… Thanks in advance

  26. Lori, I have a old cricut that only cuts up to 6 1/2 inches wide.
I can not get the Box Card Cartridge to cut out right.
Can I use this cartridge? I have never had this problem before.
    Please help!
    Sheila

  27. Not sure if this cartridge is worth the money. Cards come out very small. Kind of disappointed in it.

  28. Love my cartridge. Thanks so much for the sizing chart.

I have the same question as Jennifer. The sunflower card and others that shape have a two piece insert. How is it assembled? Cannot find it on YouTube.

  29. I cannot get the box cards to cut to the large size. Are you required to have a 12×24 mat for these? It keeps telling me that the image size is too big for the mat when I try to get it to the recommended size. I have tried to use a 5.5″ square to resize the height of the card. Someone said that Cricut Design Space is supposed to divide the images up to the different mats but mine only works when the card is tiny. Have you heard of this before?

  30. bought the all occasion cartridge and cannot figure out the sizes. I saw your chart and sized it to 11.39 as suggested. The card is so tiny! Am I supposed to ungroup and size all components one by one? If that is the case how do I know how to size pieces to keep card ratio so they all fit together? Tried cricut for help, they referred me to your video. They told me they do not have the sizes for cards. Very disappointed and confused. How can they sell a cartridge they do not know how to size??? Bought another one from svg cuts and they give sizes for each component but since I bought this cartridge, I wanted to make these.

  31. I tried the size chart after grouping all my pieces together and the card pieces do not fit on my 12 x 12 cricut sheet…much to large I put the 12.95 size into the box that said height and auto width…did not work…I am trying to size the way to go box! am I sizing it in the wrong place? I am in Cricut craft room and the box to the left of work space…

  32. WOW just bought this cartridge …and i’m loving it ..i’m going to make loads for charity thank you ..your designs are amazing {thanks for the sizes on your website very helpful}
