Box Card Envelope Butterflies

Hi there friends! Today I am sharing a baby version of the Box Card Envelope Butterflies (SVGSilhouette). To make this version I used the papers and stickers from the Special Delivery Baby collection by Echo Park Paper Co. I love all the neutral colors in this collection. I also left off the small background flowers from the cut file for this card. I really like how easy it is to customize these box cards with just a few stickers and papers.

Thats all for me today. Thanks for stopping by.

St. Patrick’s Day Cards

Spring is almost here and Saint Patrick’s Day is just around the corner too. Lori designed the cutest collection for Echo Park Happy Saint Patrick’s Day.  Just so fun and filled with the sweetest prints and little leprechauns!  I used this collection to make both of the cards that I am sharing with you today.

First is Lori’s French Door Easel Card – St Patrick or here in the Silhouette Online Design Store.  I had never tried one of these French door cards before, super fun and lots of files to choose from.  I, of course, swapped out the leprechaun for a sticker in the collection that I loved.  These cards are fast and easy to put together. Just another fun way to display a handmade card.

And next, a box card, which is my favorite along with the envelope cards.  This is Lori’s Box Card Gnome Shamrock or here in the Silhouette Online Design Store.  Again, I removed the gnome and replaced it with the cute little leprechaun sticker and some other fun bits from the Echo Park collection.  He’s just so cute standing in his field of shamrocks.

Wishing you all a very lucky day!

Wrap St. Patrick Cookie Topper

Hi all!

I work in a small office and I try to do some kind of cute little treat for all the ladies in the office on holidays. When I saw this cute little wrap I knew it would be the perfect office treat.

I started with my supplies. Because I would be making a few of these I decided to use the sticker sheet that matches the Echo Park Happy St. Patrick’s Day paper line by Lori instead of the little pot of gold that comes with the file. I used the cut file called Wrap St. Patrick (SVGSilhouette).
First, I scored the long sheet.
Added a few pop dots (dimensionals) to the back of my sticker.
Then I added my sticker to the little black cut-out (pointy tweezers are a great helper here).
I used a cello bag and put some sugar cookies in it (They kind of look like golden coins).
Here is the tricky part, put the top of your bag through the round hole.
Fold up the side with the 2 slits and run your ribbon or bakers twine through a slit, around your cookies, and back through the 2nd slit and tie in a cute bow.
Add your little black cutout and sticker accent piece to the front and you have a darling little treat.
Happy Crafting!

Box Card Large Valentine Centerpiece Tutorial

Hi! Teri here with a tutorial for the cute Box Card Large Valentine’s Centerpiece (Shop, Silhouette). This piece is simple to put together and turns out adorable.

First, I cut out all of my pieces even a few extra heart banner pieces. Since I’m putting this in a location where all sides will be seen, I wanted the banner to go all the way around the box. I also inked the hearts to give them more depth.

I ensured that all of my hearts would fit in the right spots.

Then I glued the main box portion together.

A little tip that I use for stringing baker’s twine is that I apply a small amount of wet glue to the end of the twine and then twist the twine applying the glue. Then let it dry for a few minutes and this will give you a makeshift needle so you can thread the twine through the small holes of the mini banners. I then glued the end of the twine into the corners of the main box portion.

Then I added the front and back insert pieces folding the glue tabs towards you so that you’ll get the same distance on both sides.

Then add the center insert piece.

All three insert pieces should be evenly spaced.

Thanks for stopping by!

Brrrrrrr, Let it Snow

I hope all of you are warm and toasty….here in the midwest we are absolutely frozen.  Today’s high is supposed to be -12 degrees and feels like -35 degrees with the windchill.  Yep, frozen.

So going with today’s theme, I have a layout that I created with Lori’s Echo Park Collection,  The Magic of Winter

I used a fun picture of my granddaughter at the ice sculptures in Colorado a couple years back. This collection was perfect for this photo.

I started with the giant snowflake.  I actually grabbed this from Lori’s  Center Step Snowflake Card Center Step Snowflake Card (Silhouette) and just enlarged the snowflake to what I needed for a size. Next, I created the title using Lori’s Let it Snow (Silhouette)  I cut it in white and then added the pen stitching and then did a shadow cut as well.  The last thing I cut were a bunch of hearts in different sizes and patterns from Lori’s 11 Hearts (shop) or 11 hearts (Silhouette)

Stay warm and toasty everyone!
