Dino Mini Album

Hi crafty friends! Today I am sharing a cute little mini album I made with the new Dino-Mite collection by Echo Park Paper and the Mini Album cut file (SVG, Silhouette).

This paper collection is so cute! Those little dinosaurs have so much personality. Perfect for any dino loving kid.

This little album has five built in hinges but has room to add a few more in-between the pages. The cut file also includes six different pages including a fun tag pocket. This album can be used for all sorts of occasions all that needs to change is the paper and embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Box Card Cherry Carton Tutorial

Hi there friends! Have you seen all the new cherry themed projects in Loris’s store yet? So darling! Let’s make the new Box Card Cherry Carton (SVG, Silhouette-soon to be in the store!).

I used papers from the Down on the Farm Collection by Echo Park Paper Co. Once I had everything cut out, I inked the edge of the cherries, flower, and decorative panels. I then glued the all the panels and cherries in place. The first insert has four cherries, and the second insert has three. The two tabs on the ends of the box pieces are mountain folds and then glued together creating the box.

Now to add the inserts. The tabs are valley folds, and the glue is applied to the outside of the tab (the side that is going against the inside of the box card). I lined up the front of the tabs with the front of the inside of the box and the top of the tabs with the top of the box card.

Before the glue is dry, I fold the box card flat making sure it will fold flat all the way.

I use the same process for the second insert except I line the tabs up to the back of the first insert and the top of the box card.

Lastly, I glued the sentiment and the flower to the front of the card.

Now the card is ready to send! Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you have a cherry good day!

Mini Vertical Mailbox Tutorial with Brandie

Hi there! Today I am sharing another cute Valentine’s Day project. This little mailbox is a perfect size for a tiered tray or a small space that needs a little holiday decor. It can also be filled with treats to give to a special someone.

The file is the Mini Vertical Mailbox (SVGSilhouette). I cut everything out of 80lb cardstock. All of the score lines are mountain folds except for the front door.

I started with the bottom and glued the tabs to the longest piece while lining the bottom edge up with the score line on the tab. I then glued the sides of the mailbox to the bottom, again using the score lines and edge of the tab to line everything up.
This part can be a little tricky but go slow and really secure the sides before moving to the arches of the mailbox. I applied the glue to the front straight sides first and made sure they were secure.
As I moved along to the arches, I applied glue to a few of the small tabs at a time and made sure they were dry before moving around the arch. I glued each side separately. Then when the arches were dry, I applied glue to the three remaining tabs, lined them up then flipped the mailbox onto its back, and pressed the tabs down from the inside through the front door.
I then glued the pattern papers on the sides and front door and assembled the little envelope. I then glued the red trim strips of paper to the edges of the mailbox.  I glued the largest heart to the front door and added a floral sticker. I also glued the little envelope to the front of the mailbox.
Now, this little mailbox is ready to be displayed with my other holiday decor. Thanks for stopping by today friends!

Fall Leaves Wreath

Hi friends! Today I am sharing a project that was inspired by a creator on Tik Tok. Joleen Emery makes beautiful paper art and one of my favorites is a heart made with paper feathers.

I wanted a Fall theme for my heart, so I used the 6 Fall Leaves 2 (SVG, Silhouette) and cut out 150 cardstock leaves. For the base I used a 10-inch wooden heart but chipboard, cardboard, or even several layers of cardstock glued together would work. I also cut a small hole in the top of heart to add the twine to hang the wreath. Be sure to add the twine before you start gluing the leaves. With hot glue I glued the leaves onto the heart moving around heart shape and repeating that process until the heart was covered. To finish the wreath off I tied a bow to the twine.

I love how this turned out and have plans to make one with feathers too. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great week!

In All Things Give Thanks Ornament Tutorial

Hi friends! Today I am sharing a tutorial for a large Thanksgiving style ornament. I like to hang this type of ornament on the middle of a wreath. I used the In All Things Give Thanks 3 file (SVG, Silhouette).  The other supplies are a 6-inch wood round, heat transfer vinyl, twine, and a wood bead.

I sized the image to 4.463 x 4.301 to fit onto the six-inch round. I then deleted the round and sent the image to cut.

In Cricut Design Space when using heat transfer vinyl, the images must be mirrored for each mat so that the images cut correctly.

After weeding all the words. I dry fit all of my vinyl on the round just to make sure it all fit and to work out the placement. (I did change the word things to the darker color. The gold was just too light.)

Then with my heat press I attached the words to the wood round. I set my press to 300 degrees for 20 seconds. Let the vinyl cool slightly then peeled off the clear backing.

I added a bead to the twine then looped it through the hole in the top of my round.

Last I hung the ornament to the middle of my wreath.

I love how this turned out. It is a perfect addition to this wreath and will look so pretty for Thanksgiving.
