Oh Happy Day Flexi Card

Lori’s new Flexi cards are so great.  You can find them in a bundle or separately in both Lori’s SVG Shop and the Silhouette Store.  Today, I’m sharing the Oh Happy Day Flexi Card (Silhouette, SVG).  Each of these cards is made of just three pieces.  So they are quick and easy to make, but make such a great impact.

This is what the card looks like flat, so it’s easy to mail.

There are many sentiments or icons to choose from.  You’ll enjoy making them all!

Delicate Flower Card

I’m sharing today a quick tutorial for the Delicate Flower Card.  This card is so pretty and easy to assemble!  It folds to fit into a standard A7 envelope.

Silhouette/SVG

This card has only 5 pieces to cut and assemble.  The sentiment is done using the print and cut function of your machine.

After cutting the pieces, adhere the delicate floral piece to the white floral backer. It’s best to use an adhesive with a fine tip.  Carefully adhere the piece.  Add the sentiment to the banner.  Then adhere the assembled pieces to the card.  The banner can go above or below the bouquet, whatever your preference.

Lori has several other delicate floral cards.  Check out the bundle here.

Have a great day!

Easter Shadowbox Card

Today I have one of Lori’s Easter Shadowbox cards to share.  These are quick to put together and have such a lovely impact with the different layers.

Shadow Box Card Easter Jesus

SVG/Silhouette

I added pop dots to the stone to give it more dimension. This card folds flat to fit into a 5×7 envelope.  For help with assembly, Lori has a tutorial here for this type of shadow box card.

Chipboard Village Easter Add-on

Did you create Lori’s Chipboard Village for Christmas?  Now we have an Easter add-on (SVG, Silhouette(coming soon)).  Find the Christmas Village in the Shop and Silhouette Store (Farmhouse, Manor, Church, Cottage, General Store).

The add-on is a one page print and cut file.  I printed on Sticker paper and I also cut out each shape from cardstock.  I added the sticker to the cardstock shape and glued onto the cardstock stand that is also included in the file.  They look great with the village houses, and are perfect for spring!

Have a great day!

French Door Easel Card – St. Patrick’s Day Tutorial

Happy Tutorial Day.  Lori has added some new French door easel cards to the shop. I’m making the St. Patrick’s Day Version today. You can find it in Lori’s SVG Shop or in the Silhouette Store.

I started by cutting all the pieces.

French Easel Pieces

Next start building the layers of the card.  Glue the pieces to he base as shown.  Print and cut the sentiment and add it to its background piece.

Now let’s make the leprechaun. The black oval goes behind the leprechaun body for the color of the eyes and mouth. Then layer over the body of the leprechaun.

Now let’s dress the Leprechaun. Add the hat, pants, and shoes.

Now add the band to the hat and add the belt.

Add the shirt and buckle on the hat.

And finally add the beard and other face pieces.

Attach the completed leprechaun piece to the card base as shown below.  It should be centered horizontally, and hang below the base by about 3/4″.

Look how fun this card is!  To get it to stand, fold the card along the main score line.  Bring the two side tabs inward, and rest the card front into the notches.  This card folds flat to fit into an A2 envelope for mailing.

Now all that’s left is to gather your favorite green papers and make a fun St. Patrick’s Day card!

Have a great day!
